Aylesbury was the music capital of the world – who knew?
Who knew that Aylesbury was a hot bed of musical culture in the 70s and 80s? Well the 93,000 members of the Friars Music Club probably did, but it was a fact lost on me until I visited the Friars exhibition at the Buckinghamshire County Museum recently.
Design: Thame Museum posters
One of the little projects I have been involved in is designing posters for my local museum in Thame. It’s something I started doing on a voluntary basis about 3 years ago when I redesigned their website. I still design occasional posters and leaflets for them, so I thought I would share some of them here. It’s a small museum with exhibits of local history and life, and is run entirely by volunteers. I create most of the copy and illustrations for the posters.
