Finished woodcut

I can now share with you some photos of the woodcut print I started last week. I gave the wood a bit of a smooth down before I printed it; pressing two on plain paper and 4 onto pre-prepared backgrounds coloured in with colouring pencil, I hope you like them. The only problem I encountered was cleaning the wood block, I used oil-based inks and have no idea how to clean it up! I tried turps and a sponge but it was not particularly successful – let me know if you have any tips!
