February’s Fabulous Photo

Tiger skull at the Grant Museum of ZoologyTiger skull at the Grant Museum of Zoology

This month’s photo was taken on a trip to the Grant Museum of Zoology. This small, free museum is the only remaining university zoological museum in London and houses around 67.000 specimens. We saw everything from a jar of worms to a white rabbit’s head (very apt with Easter just around the corner…). The image above is of a tiger skull.

The museum is fairly dark and I struggled to get great shots with my little camera, so I used a little Photoshop magic, and this tutorial from Spoon Graphics, to boost it and give it a retro feel.
