Art in Action: photo album

This Saturday I had the pleasure to visit Art in Action; a four day art event that’s been happening in Oxfordshire since 1977. Based around the idea that people are fascinated by demonstrating artists, the event showcases the work of hundreds of artists, makers and crafts people, boasts a huge marketplace as well as lessons, workshops, exhibitions, food, and music.
Here are some photos from the day:
Traditional carpet weaving from Uzbekistan
Sculpture by John O’Connor
Ceramics by Linda Dangoor
Glass by Layne Rowe
Work in progress – Ali Yanya
Collographic printing
Textile painting by Carole Waller
Portrait by David Caldwell
The art of Ebru (marbling) by Hikmet Barutcugil
